Version 1.3.0 / Update
Tenant Pane 1.3.0
October 27, 2026
Added
- Diagnostics you can turn on when you need help. Settings > About Tenant Pane > Record diagnostics is off unless you turn it on. While it's on, for up to seven days, Tenant Pane records app and browser-engine events on your computer, such as pages that failed to load and browser-engine crashes. Save as ZIP makes a copy you can send to support; nothing is sent automatically.
Fixed
- Downloading a file no longer shows “This page could not load” over the page you were on, and a download that opens in a new window finishes even though that window closes on its own.
- An unexpected error while Tenant Pane checks a page, a download, a permission or a popup now stops only that one item, and pop-up windows that a page closes while Tenant Pane is busy now close instead of staying open.

Added
- Workspace types. Every workspace is a Microsoft 365 workspace or a Google Workspace workspace. You choose the type when you create the workspace, and a badge beside the name shows it: the Microsoft 365 mark or the Google mark. The type cannot be changed later; for a different type, create a new workspace and delete the old one. The badge shows the type you chose, not which account or tenant is signed in.
- New workspace still creates a workspace with one click. Right-click the button, press Shift+F10 or the Menu key on it, or click the small chevron beside it, to pick the other type from a menu. Settings > Workspaces sets the default type (Microsoft 365 unless you change it) and shows each workspace's type in its editor.
- Portal buttons follow the workspace type. A Google Workspace workspace shows the Google Admin console, Google Vault and the Google Cloud console on its toolbar. A Microsoft 365 workspace shows the Microsoft portals as before.
- Settings > Portals has a Google Workspace default portals scope beside the Microsoft 365 one, with the same placement, ordering and custom destinations. A workspace's own portal settings cover its own type only. A custom Google address or a bookmark of a Google page is saved without an account index such as /u/1/, so it opens under whichever account is signed in.
- Each workspace type has its own default startup portal. Microsoft 365 workspaces keep the choice you had; Google Workspace workspaces open the Google Admin console unless you choose Vault, the Cloud console or None.
Fixed
- Clicking a workspace's collapse chevron, pin or name with the mouse no longer leaves a focus ring on it. The ring was drawn in the workspace's text color, which showed as a dark bar on light-colored workspaces.
Version 1.1.0 / Update
Tenant Pane 1.1.0

Changed
- Rename a workspace by double-clicking its name or pressing F2. The rename box opens beside the workspace; Enter saves, and the color picker sits folded under Color.
- The workspace menu is shorter: Rename, Pin for reuse, Reopen closed tab, Workspace settings, then Close workspace and Delete workspace. Delete says how many bookmarks go with the workspace.
- Presentation mode has one button, beside New workspace, or Ctrl+Shift+P. It stays lit while you are showing a single workspace.
- Favicon-only tabs show no pin or close buttons. Close any tab with a middle-click or Ctrl+W.
- The tab menu starts with Pin and ends with Close tab.
- Settings > About shows the version and runtime, links to the website, support, privacy, the Store listing and security reporting, and a Copy diagnostic info button.
- Tab display is set in Settings > Appearance only. The browser menu no longer has a Troubleshooting entry.
Security
- The app contains no development test modes and no internal test pages.
- Automatic workspace naming reads the admin portal page once, when it finishes loading.
- Copy URL never copies sign-in material. An address that carries any is copied without its query and fragment, and the app says so.
- Web addresses show their host in plain ASCII, and names and bookmark titles cannot contain invisible formatting characters.
- Local data has fixed limits: 64 workspaces, 200 bookmarks per workspace and 200 global bookmarks, addresses of at most 2,048 characters and names of at most 80.
- Diagnostics are written to disk only if the app fails to start.
Version 1.0.0 / First release
Tenant Pane 1.0.0

What’s included
- Isolated workspaces: each workspace has its own browser profile, so tenants stay open side by side without sharing sign-ins.
- Temporary and pinned workspaces. Pinned workspaces keep their name, color and settings; pages, tabs and sign-ins are never restored.
- A shared title and tab row with drag reordering, per-tab pinning, compact tabs and destination tooltips.
- Ten admin portal shortcuts and a configurable startup portal for new workspaces.
- Workspace and global bookmarks, with an optional bookmark bar.
- Search with Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo, plus find, zoom, downloads, print and permission prompts.
- Native Settings with search, System/Light/Dark appearance and a choice of tab titles or favicons.
- Loading and failure feedback with Retry.
- Delete workspace, with confirmation.
Security and privacy
- No password saving, import, sync or autofill.
- Workspace names are labels you choose, not verification of the signed-in tenant.
- The app has no telemetry and no cloud sync.
Requirements
- Windows 11 (64-bit).
- Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime (Evergreen), which Windows 11 includes.
